Brother and Sister Tummon dedicated their lives to ministry. Brother Tummon went on to be with Lord earlier this year. The Davenport Church of God sends a small stipend each month.2. Sister Velma, a long time Evangelist within the Church of God Denomination, has led many revivals at our church including one that lasted six months. Sister Velma has a Worldwide Television program "Forgiven With Velma." We have a sermon from Sister Velma under "Miscellaneous Sermons" that you can listen to or visit her website HERE.3. This ministry plants churches and helps many under-sized ladies' ministries.4. Our church won an award for giving the most to this cause for the membership bracket of 51-100. Currently, their raising money to build a ministry training school in South America.5. Tae Kwon Do isn't just an opportunity for physical learning. After each class, Brother Randy Thompson teaches his students a Scripture based lesson. Subjects like discipline, honor, selflessness, courage, and perseverance are all likeley to come up.6. Our Ladies Ministry focuses on this charity which is Florida Church of God run orphanage.7. Mike and Vail Croslow are ministries to Uganda, Africa. They focus on a concept called "micro finance" in which they teach Africans how to start their own business to in turn provide for their needs. They also help provide small loans to accomplish these goals.
